FALL CAR CRUISE

This year the annual Fall Car Cruise will begin on Saturday Sep 27th and continue on Sunday Sept 28th.  Join us for one day or the weekend.

 

We will meet at 9am Saturday, Sep 27th at the

You will see the hotel from Rt. 93 Exit 5.  They are holding a few rooms for Friday night for The Car Club. If anyone wants to stay you can call and make your reservation. The rate is $80.00.  You can mention my name, George Berube with The Car Club.

 

On Saturday morning we will travel North on Rt 93 through Franconia Notch, former sight of the Old Man of the Mountains.

Then on to Twin Mountain, Crawford Notch, and the Kancamagus Pass - stopping for lunch on the way.

We have blocked rooms for Saturday night at the Grand View Motel & Cottages, Weirs Beach, NHhttp://www.grandviewmotel-nh.com  To make a reservation for Saturday night you must call them at 603-366-4973.

Spacious & comfortable motel rooms or individual country cottages allow you to park at your door and enjoy the view of Lake Winnipesaukee.  The rate is the same for either motel or cottage, $99.36 for 2 people per night.

On Saturday evening we have booked reservations for a 3 hour dinner cruise aboard the M/S Mount Washington, http://www.cruisenh.com to cruise around scenic Lake Winnipesaukee. The total price for dinner and cruise is $42.00 per person.  I need to prepay for all our tickets in advance by Aug 20th.  So anyone going on the dinner cruise on Saturday night please send a check to George Berube for as many ticket reservations as you would like.

 

Sunday morning we will travel South to Amesbury, MA for a photo opportunity at the Michaud AMC Dealership.

 

From here we will drive to Newburyport, MA to the Starboard Galley Restaurant for lunch. http://www.starboardgalley.net 

 

After lunch we can walk around the quaint, Seacoast town for sightseeing and shopping. http://www.newburyport01950.com  Stay here as long as you like. The major highways to get home are only about 5 minutes away.
